EDWYN LEARN · FREE INVITE-ONLY BETA
Professional Java. From your first program to bigger decisions.
Follow a path through the language, the systems it powers and the reasoning behind reliable engineering. Learn, check your understanding, put it into practice and bring your work for review.
OUR FIRST DEEP PATH
Find your footing. Then go deeper.
Start with the work you can attempt today. Java Foundations begins with your first program; returning developers can discuss a different starting point. Advanced courses have their own prerequisites.
Make a learning starter plan- 01Java foundations & fluency
Find your footing.
Write, run and debug a small inventory CLI.
- 02Core Java, streams & language features
Think in modern Java.
Make behavior explicit and defend your choices.
- 03Spring, concurrency & the JVM
Build for the real world.
Build tested services and diagnose how they behave.
- 04Events, distributed systems & architecture
Make the bigger decisions.
Design for failure, tradeoffs and change.
- 05Engineering & interview practica
Put your work to the test.
Submit evidence. Explain decisions. Improve with review.
TRY A PUBLISHED-PATH EXAMPLE
A small Java lesson. A practical next step.
Try the check, explore the assignment and see the evidence record. No sign-in needed. This illustrative walkthrough does not save learner progress or assess your capability.
01 / Learn
Understand the idea. Then make it yours.
A lesson explains the rule, shows a working example and makes the boundaries clear. Here: deciding when inventory needs to be reordered.
Interactive illustration. This is a preview, not a saved lesson, assessment or learner record.
When should we reorder?
Check invalid values first. Then handle zero, low stock and sufficient stock—in that order.
if (quantity < 0)
decision = "INVALID";
else if (quantity == 0)
decision = "OUT";
else if (quantity < 5)
decision = "REORDER";
else
decision = "SUFFICIENT";PROGRESS WITH SOMETHING BEHIND IT
Study is the beginning. Your work shows the next part.
Guided lessons and readiness checks help you decide where to focus. Practical assignments ask you to build, test and explain a solution. Review gives you a chance to improve it.
Finishing lessons records study progress. A mapped capability becomes demonstrated when its configured readiness threshold is met and the required practice evidence is accepted by a reviewer. That records learning facts; it does not guarantee employment or an external qualification.
How to join
The current Java learner beta is free and access is by invitation. Submit a learner request to discuss your starting point; the request itself does not create an account or guarantee an invitation.
Already invited? Follow the invitation link to create your account. If you have joined, open Learn to sign in.
The curriculum figures describe published beta content, counted on the live beta workspace on 27 October 2026. The 78 figure counts readiness questions, not 78 separate assessments.
